We’ve been impacted. That’s why we lead

Our Programs

The Royal Rose Foundation delivers life-saving education, youth empowerment, and direct community support through programs rooted in lived experience, prevention, and care. While our work centers communities most impacted by systemic harm, all of our programs are open to the public and available to anyone in need or seeking to get involved.

Overdose Prevention & Response Workshops & Trainings

This is what Royal Rose is best known for.

We provide community-centered overdose prevention education focused on fentanyl awareness, harm-reduction strategies, and life-saving response. Our workshops are rooted in real-world experience and designed to meet people where they are — without judgment.

Includes:

  • Overdose prevention & response workshops/trainings
  • Fentanyl education
  • Narcan (naloxone) distribution
  • Youth, parent, and community education
  • School, organization, and community bookings

Youth awareness & prevention workshops

Our Youth Prevention & Awareness Workshop addresses the fentanyl crisis and its impact on young people across all communities. While the crisis has disproportionately affected Black, Brown, and Latino/x youth, this workshop is open to all youth ages 13 and older and meets young people with real, life-saving education and harm-reduction tools.

Youth learn how to:

  • Recognize the signs of an overdose
  • Respond in emergencies using Narcan (Naloxone)
  • Reduce stigma and support peer safety
  • Build awareness and advocacy in their schools and communities

Workshops are interactive, include breakout discussions, guest speakers with lived and professional experience, and create a safe, welcoming space for learning and connection. Meals and youth incentives are often provided to support engagement and care.

Who this is for:
Middle schools, high schools, youth programs, and community organizations.
