The Youth Workshop is a critical program addressing the fentanyl crisis, which has deeply impacted youth across all communities, particularly BIPOC and Latino/x populations. What to Expect:
Why This Program Matters:
The Narcan 101 Youth Workshop is designed to empower young people with life-saving skills and the ability to support their peers in moments of crisis. By addressing the overdose epidemic head-on and reducing stigma, this program fosters resilience and education in communities disproportionately affected by opioids.
We partnered with @better.chances and other community members to host a powerful workshop focused on awareness, education, and prevention.
Through interactive discussions and mentorship, our youth learned about the dangers of counterfeit drugs, the risks of fentanyl, and how to make informed choices that protect their futures. These conversations are critical in ensuring that our communities have the knowledge and resources to stay safe.
