Where education meets action!
We hosted our first-ever Community Mixer this June, bringing together local leaders, changemakers, and supporters for an evening of connection, collaboration, and shared purpose. Guests learned about our latest initiatives, explored ways to get involved, and celebrated community wins over food, music, and intentional conversation. This event marked a powerful reminder of what’s possible when community shows up for community. Thank you to everyone who joined us—you made it unforgettable

9/13/2024 ROYAL ROSE FOUNDATION EAST COUNTY WORKSHOP
Our founder, MJ Jackson, requested that May be designated as National Fentanyl Awareness Month in Portland, and the mayor approved this request today at the city council meeting. This bold declaration underscores our resolve and serves as a reminder of the challenges our city and country face. We raise awareness, educate our communities, and provide support—especially to marginalized groups. While this proclamation cannot bring back the countless lives lost, it stands as a testament.

On May 25th, The Royal Rose Foundation hosted our first Save A Life Saturday of the season—and the impact was real.
Held in the heart of the community, this event brought people together for free Narcan training, overdose prevention education, and powerful moments of connection. From the music and food to the energy of folks showing up ready to learn, it was clear: our community is rising to meet this crisis together.
We’re especially grateful to Multnomah County for their continued support and to every individual who attended, shared the event, or simply showed up with open hearts. Whether you came to be trained, to support a loved one, or to just listen and learn—you made a difference.
This event is part of our ongoing effort to reduce stigma, raise awareness, and equip our community with life-saving tools. Because community care is harm reduction—and every life matters.
MJ Jackson, Founder and Executive Director of The Royal Rose Foundation, had the honor of speaking with youth at the U.S. Attorney's Office about the vital work our organization does in the community. MJ shared insights into our mission to empower BIPOC communities, tackle the fentanyl crisis, and provide education, advocacy, and support to those most impacted.
This meaningful opportunity allowed us to connect with young minds, inspire future change-makers, and highlight how collective action can create lasting impact. The Royal Rose Foundation is proud to lead these important conversations, paving the way for a healthier, safer, and more equitable future.
